This image uses printmaking to explore layers of shape and colour. The work takes inspiration from the photographs taken and archived of brightly coloured small-scale plastic objects found discarded on urban pavements.

The objects in the prints each have their own individual stories and maintain elements of the familiar whilst still holding on to their former lives. These prints are created using the relief process and printed on an intaglio press. The printing plates are made from a variety of repurposed and recycled materials, such as cardboard packaging, to create the cut-outs and stencils that are inked and printed.
